When we booked Connell’s House, we had never visited Ireland, so we weren’t too sure what to expect or if this would be a good location to stay for a holiday home base. Our expectations were exceeded and then some. This home is absolutely stunning. It was very clean and Karla provides every amenity you could possibly want. It was the perfect location for our family and it offered some peace and tranquility after long days site seeing in the bigger cites. It was very convenient to drive from Dublin airport and it was easy to plan day trips from this location. Karla was an amazing host, making us feel special from the beginning, with a welcome basket of local goodies and fresh milk in the fridge, we felt right at home when we arrived. If you plan on visiting Ireland, don’t hesitate on renting Karla's home. It is stunning, functional, sparkling clean, and all around a beautiful home to call yours for your vacation. Karla responds quickly to any questions you might have and we appreciated the in depth book of recommendations for Ireland, that she has on the coffee table. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Ireland and this home just added to the beauty of that. We will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future! 

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Connell's House! It is superbly comfortable, beautifully decorated, warm, spacious, immaculately clean and has everything you can think is provided! We loved the spacious kitchen and the big table; the incredibly comfy living room with its soft couches, wonderful sense of space and cosiness. Each one of the bedrooms were glorious with utterly blissful beds. The garden and picnic tables outside are so lovely too. Fluffy towels, glorious shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, as much cookware as you could ever need, soft lights in every room, and a rapidly responsive heating system. Everyone had their own beautiful bathroom and a big deep bath for the restful soak! The creativity, consideration and intelligence, with which this house has been renovated is absolutely world class and we would love if Karla  would take on another such project and bring more of our precious heritage back to life! Karla’s property in Duleek is a lovely mix of the old and the new, tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The property is best suited for a larger group and easily accommodate the 8 adults and three young children in our group. All the instructions were clearly set out and we had no problem checking into Connell’s House. The history of the property was an added bonus and fascinating but reflective of the little touches Karla has made to make your stay both easy, comfortable and interesting. The children loved the toys and I nearly got the jigsaw puzzle finished! The property is ideally located for visiting Dublin city or the Boyne Valley historical sites. Karla was prompt with any correspondence and we appreciated the treats on arrival. Super host is well deserved as you have a gorgeous property. Thank you Karla!

Connell's House is a gorgeous renovated cottage, a home from home. It was immaculately presented with lots of toys for our son to play with and well equipped for children. The board games were great fun too. We had a meal in the Lime Kiln upon Karla's many recommendations and the food was fabulous. We also had takeaway pizza from Tribe, which is literally right next door! Great location - close to Tayto Park, Drogheda, Newgrange, beaches, Dublin city and airport. I would highly recommend Connell’s House for your Irish vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Connell House. It is beautiful, really well set up for families. I don’t think there is anything the host has not though of. The littles touches they have added just made our stay there so relaxed and comfortable. Would highly recommend it.
