What our guests think

Wow! Where to start... this place (a renovated barn) is just absolutely amazing. Super stylish, immaculately clean and with everything you might need and can imagine. Thoughtful amenities, cool design, cozy comfort. This is a place you’ll absolutely love staying. Located in a charming little corner of Duleek, the location was perfect. Parking is easy, locals are so nice, and the village is just the sweetest location. Karla is a great host, communication with was spot on, always prompt and easy. Check-in couldn’t be easier too, with all the instructions clearly explained to you for a smooth self check-in. What an exceptional experience. We will surely come back to the Barn in the future. Thank you Karla!

We are really impressed by Connell's Barn. It is a beautiful, very clean and welcoming house. The descriptions and suggestions from Karla were great. We had no problems to find the barn or anything we needed. Duleek is a nice small town and a good starting point for trips to sights around the the east coast.

Karla’s home was perfect! We had a total of 6 adults and 2 kids staying in the house and 2 adults and 2 kids staying in the barn. Karla was an amazing hostess! Very communicative and helpful. Her home was extremely clean and perfectly located near Main Street, so we were able to walk to pick up anything we needed. Everyone we met in the village was so nice and friendly. Karla provided so much helpful information and her home had everything we needed. My nephew got married at Slane Castle and it was only a 15 minute car ride away; except when we were stopped because cows were crossing the road! That added another 5-10 minutes, but that’s Ireland!!! I could go on and on about Karla, her beautiful home and Duleek, but this was the BEST Airbnb we have ever experienced!

We had a wonderful time at Connell House. It is beautiful, really well set up for families. I don’t think there is anything the host has not though of. The littles touches they have added just made our stay there so relaxed and comfortable. Would highly recommend it.

Connell’s Barn was beautiful and meticulously clean. My friend and I developed a running joke during our stay about the flawlessness of the place; pillows too fluffy, tourist info suspiciously organised, the furnishings incredulously tasteful, you get it…...Karla really went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed, her organisation and attention to detail was very much appreciated. We booked places on our trip with the mindset "we just need a place to sleep" but once we got to Karla's place we opted to utilise the sparkling kitchen to cook a few meals, lingered over tea, and even had a night in eating takeout on the couch. The beds were so comfy, on our first night we both slept 11 hours straight!!!
