The Sage & Stone – Duleek
Our local Farm Cafe, The Sage & Stone is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch and only five minutes away by car.
If you would like to try the ultimate traditional Irish breakfast or a delicious lunch with homemade bread and cakes, it’s the best place to go. They also have a beautiful gift shop!
The Lime Kiln – Julianstown
A classic Irish pub with open fires and a warm welcome, The Lime Kiln serve delicious modern Irish food in their restaurant and bar.
Along with the set menu’s classic favourites, there are weekly specials and a great selection of local cider and beers.
The Lime Kiln is a ten minute car journey from Connell’s House and there is a local taxi service is available.
The Pantry – Julianstown
Our local bakery is located beside the Lime Kiln, where you can buy traditional Irish batch and soda bread, as well as delicious savoury pies and pastries.
If you don’t fancy cooking, take home some their restaurant dishes, available from the chill cabinet.
If you’re heading to Laytown Beach, make sure you stop off for some picnic goodies!
The NANNY GASTRO PUB – Duleek
The Nanny is a beautiful traditional Irish Pub. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment and if this is your first visit to Ireland, it’s the perfect place to sample a pint of Guinness!
It’s only a five minute walk from Connell’s House & Barn, so if you want to (as we say in Ireland) “Watch the Match”, this is the best place to come.
They also have a delicious bar menu, so you can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Nanny. Open 7 days a week.

BEO is our local coffee shop on Duleek Main Street, literally a one minute away!
So if you need your morning coffee in a hurry, it’s the place to go.
They also sell a variety of fresh bread and pastries, as well as some local Boyne Valley food products.
