Tribe Restaurant – Duleek
Tribe is famed for their delicious sourdough pizza, cocktails and welcoming atmosphere. Situated in a beautifully restored church, it’s a unique place to dine out whilst staying at Connell’s House & Barn and only a short walk along the footpath!
The Sage & Stone – Duleek
Our local Farm Cafe, The Sage & Stone is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch and only five minutes away by car.
If you would like to try the ultimate traditional Irish breakfast or a delicious lunch with homemade bread and cakes, it’s the best place to go. They also have a beautiful gift shop too!


beo coffee shop – Duleek
BEO is our local coffee shop on Duleek Main Street, literally a one minute walk away!
So if you need your morning coffee in a hurry, it’s the place to go.
They also sell a variety of fresh bread and pastries, as well as some local Boyne Valley food products.
The NANNY GASTRO PUB – Duleek
The Nanny is a beautiful traditional Irish Pub. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment and if this is your first visit to Ireland, it’s the perfect place to sample a pint of Guinness!
It’s only a five minute walk from Connell’s House & Barn, so if you want to (as we say in Ireland) “Watch the Match”, this is the best place to come.
They also have a delicious bar menu, so you can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Nanny. Open 7 days a week.


Matt the thresher – Julianstown
A classic Irish pub with open fires and a warm welcome, Matt the Thresher serve delicious modern Irish food and fresh fish in their restaurant and bar.
Along with the set menu classic favourites, there are weekly specials and a great selection of local cider and beers.
Matt the Thresher is a ten minute car journey from Connell’s House. There is a local taxi service available.
man o’war – Balbriggan
A traditional Irish thatched pub and restaurant with open fires and live music in the bar on the weekends.
They serve traditional Irish staples like Beef & Guinness Stew, Fish & Chips, Roast of Day, Market Fish of the Day and seafood chowder, as well as European dishes like risotto and pasta.
Man O’War is a 20 minute car journey from Connell’s House. There is a local taxi service available.


Kirwan’s Fish Shop – Drogheda
Kirwan’s Fish Shop is an institution in Drogheda with the best selection of fresh fish and seafood landed from nearby Clogherhead.
They also sell a variety of freshly prepared ready meals to go. So after a long day sight seeing, you can pick up a quick and easy meal to cook at home!
