Weddings at Connell’s House & Barn

Connell’s House & Barn is conveniently situated near many of the beautiful Country House wedding venues across County Meath, such as Ballymagarvey Village, Tankardstown House and The Millhouse in Slane.

Bridal Parties

It’s the perfect place for bridal parties to stay before the big day. Enjoy a special pre-wedding dinner in the Tower Room at Tribe Restaurant or why not take away some of their renowned sourdough pizzas for a cosy night in with the girls. The local Farm Cafe, the Sage & Stone can deliver a sumptuous Irish Breakfast buffet for the morning of the wedding, so the bridal party can relax and enjoy the pre-wedding preparations.

Stay with friends

Connell’s House & Barn also welcomes guests who are attending weddings in any of the nearby Country House venues. There is a local taxi service available as well as a mini bus service for larger groups.

This house is amazing, even the pictures dont do it justice. My family and I fell in love with the property, so much so we stayed an extra night. I cant think of anywhere else I'd want to propose to my now fiance, it was perfect. The host is a pleasure to deal with and has left no stone unturned. Thanks so much, we'll be back.

Karla is hands down the best hostess we have ever had at an Airbnb. Her home was in pristine condition and had everything we needed for our family of four. Our kids loved the toys, the garden area and the sleeping arrangements, with beautiful white bed linen. We absolutely loved Duleek and exploring the surrounding areas. We travel full time and stay in Airbnbs 90% of the time. This was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! No problem parking right outside. There was a grocery store around the corner, a fantastic restaurant next door called TRIBE, a lovely pub on Main Street and a great Farm Cafe (Sage & Stone) only 5 minutes away by car.
