There are an abundance of food producers in the Boyne Valley, all working hard to produce some of Ireland’s finest ingredients.

Boyne Valley Flavours promotes not only the food producers in the region, but also hosts guided food tours and weekend farm retreats, as well seasonal food events and street festivals. Check out the link below to see the latest events.

Sheridan Cheese Mongers

Sheridan’s are the premier supplier of the finest Irish and European cheeses in Ireland. They host seasonal food events in their wonderful shop in county Meath, but you can also find them in Dublin city and in our local Dunnes Stores supermarket.

Vantasival Music Festival

Vantasival takes place in June every year. It’s a local family friendly music festival, set in the beautiful grounds of Beaulieu House. Not only will you find an amazing collection of iconic Volkswagen camper vans, but they also have a great line up of popular Irish music acts, gourmet food stalls and family events. 

Slane Castle Rock Concerts

Home to the Conyngham family for more than three hundred years, Slane castle is renowned not only for its intriguing architectural history, but also for Rock Concerts.

Acts such as U2, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and Guns N’ Roses have all played here. Check out the link below to see who will be headlining this years concert, tickets sell fast!

Moynalty Steam Threshing

The Monalty Steam Threshing Festival takes place in August very year. See some of the finest steaming engines in Ireland at this legendary Harvest Festival, with a huge display of vintage cars and farm machinery, as well as live music, gourmet food stalls and family entertainment. 

Dunderry Fair

The Dunderry Fair takes place every May Bank Holiday weekend. It’s a classic Irish Fair day on the main street of Dunderry, with traditional skills such as basket weaving, butter making and shoeing horses all on the display, as well as farm animals, live music and matchmaking!  

Drogheda Arts Festival

Drogheda Arts Festival takes place every May Bank Holiday weekend. It’s the first festival of the summer season, with an eclectic mix of theatre, music, literate and spoken word events, as well as family and outdoor activities for all ages. 

The Irish Maritime Festival

The Irish Maritime Festival takes place every June on the quayside in Drogheda Port. See tall ships sail up the River Boyne and enjoy maritime themed events with live music, local food stalls and family activities.
