Nice town and location and what a beautiful house! Super clean and convenient to little things you might need to shop for daily, close to local attractions and friendly locals. Tribe Restaurant, less than a minute’s walk, was such a favourite that we ate there twice!!! Of the 3 rental homes we stayed at during our two week visit to Ireland, Karla’s house was the cleanest and most comfortable (especially beds, bedding and furniture). Thanks, Karla!

Connell’s Barn was beautiful and meticulously clean. My friend and I developed a running joke during our stay about the flawlessness of the place; pillows too fluffy, tourist info suspiciously organised, the furnishings incredulously tasteful, you get it…...Karla really went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed, her organisation and attention to detail was very much appreciated. We booked places on our trip with the mindset "we just need a place to sleep" but once we got to Karla's place we opted to utilise the sparkling kitchen to cook a few meals, lingered over tea, and even had a night in eating takeout on the couch. The beds were so comfy, on our first night we both slept 11 hours straight!!!

Spent a wonderful week at Connell’s House. All aspects from booking to leaving were perfect. Karla is a marvellous hostess, she responds quickly, she's very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive at all. The house is a delight, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We were incredibly happy with our stay at Connell's House! It is superbly comfortable, beautifully decorated, warm, spacious, immaculately clean and has everything you can think is provided! We loved the spacious kitchen and the big table; the incredibly comfy living room with its soft couches, wonderful sense of space and cosiness. Each one of the bedrooms were glorious with utterly blissful beds. The garden and picnic tables outside are so lovely too. Fluffy towels, glorious shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, as much cookware as you could ever need, soft lights in every room, and a rapidly responsive heating system. Everyone had their own beautiful bathroom and a big deep bath for the restful soak! The creativity, consideration and intelligence, with which this house has been renovated is absolutely world class and we would love if Karla  would take on another such project and bring more of our precious heritage back to life! When we booked Connell’s House, we had never visited Ireland, so we weren’t too sure what to expect or if this would be a good location to stay for a holiday home base. Our expectations were exceeded and then some. This home is absolutely stunning. It was very clean and Karla provides every amenity you could possibly want. It was the perfect location for our family and it offered some peace and tranquility after long days site seeing in the bigger cites. It was very convenient to drive from Dublin airport and it was easy to plan day trips from this location. Karla was an amazing host, making us feel special from the beginning, with a welcome basket of local goodies and fresh milk in the fridge, we felt right at home when we arrived. If you plan on visiting Ireland, don’t hesitate on renting Karla's home. It is stunning, functional, sparkling clean, and all around a beautiful home to call yours for your vacation. Karla responds quickly to any questions you might have and we appreciated the in depth book of recommendations for Ireland, that she has on the coffee table. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Ireland and this home just added to the beauty of that. We will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future!
